  Installation by a DIY Enthusiast or Electrician (Single-Person Installation)

   

  • Prepare Your Components: Ensure that you have all the necessary components for your chosen Butterfly radiator model.

   

  • Mounting the Radiator: Use the provided instructions to position the radiator and wall brackets. This can be done by a single person.

   

  • Electrical Connection:
  • Plug-In Option: If your Butterfly radiator model supports it, you can plug it into a suitable power outlet.
  • Hardwiring: For permanent installation, engage a qualified electrician to hardwire the radiator to the mains. This ensures both safety and compliance with warranty terms.

   

  • Location Considerations:
  • Always mount the radiator on solid walls using the supplied fixtures.
  • For stud or partition wall installations, consult with a professional to assess wall strength and receive advice on appropriate fixtures.

   

  • Bathroom Installation: The Butterfly range of radiators are not IP24 rated, however could be installed in a bathroom, dependent on how far it is from the water source, it must be positioned at least 1 meter away from water sources.

   

  • Multiple Radiators: If you plan to install multiple Butterfly radiators, consult a qualified electrician to avoid overloading your property's electrical circuits. Their expertise will help ensure a safe and efficient installation.

  Prior to delivery / installation of the radiator(s), it will be the customers responsibly to ensure that any existing heaters that have been agreed to be removed, have had sufficient time to completely cool down in the interest of safety.

   

  Due to the bespoke nature of the product, normal delivery time is in excess of 30 days.
